Job Description

As a Risk and Compliance Specialist, Core and Research, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of Google's products and services. You will develop and implement compliance programs and processes, identify and manage risks, and stay up-to-date on regulatory changes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to address compliance challenges and implement solutions. This role is based in London, UK.

Must have:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
8 years of experience in a technical project management or a customer-facing role
3 years of experience in a risk management, compliance or regulatory role
Experience developing and implementing compliance programs and processes
Experience with internal and external audits
Experience with current payments regulations

Good to have:

Experience with Consumer and Partner products or the technology industry
Understanding of regulatory requirements and risk management
Excellent problem-solving skills

Minimum qualifications:

Preferred qualifications:

Experience developing and implementing compliance programs and processes.
Experience with internal and external audits, including preparation and participation.
Experience with current payments regulations, such as Payment Card Industry, Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS), Anti-money laundering (AML).
Experience with Consumer and Partner products or the technology industry.
Understanding of regulatory requirements and risk management
Excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Develop a understanding of the compliance requirements for products within our scope.
Take the initiative to identify and manage risks associated with these requirements.
Design and implement training programs, processes, controls, and structures to ensure compliance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address compliance challenges and implement solutions.
Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry.
