Job Description

The Business Systems Analyst will design information systems to meet business needs, aligning with the organization's architecture. Responsibilities include identifying requirements, analyzing user input, estimating system costs, creating project plans, and preparing system specifications. They will design system solutions, configure settings, develop use cases, conduct testing, and create documentation. They will also troubleshoot issues, recommend improvements, and automate business processes using agile methodologies. The analyst will work closely with business stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and ongoing support.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or Computer Science.
  • 6-8 years of Supply Chain experience in SAP TM (S4 HANA), BN4L, and SAP LE.
  • In-depth knowledge of the SAP transportation management lifecycle.
  • Hands-on experience with Freight Units, Freight orders, and cockpit.
Good to have:
  • Exposure to BRF+ functionality.
  • Knowledge of SAP Logistics processes covering Order to cash cycle.
  • Knowledge of SAP Event Management processes.
  • Knowledge of BN4L for Freight collaboration and GTT.

Job Description: 

Business Systems Analyst work focuses on designing information systems that are appropriate for Business users' needs and consistent with the overall design of the organization's information systems architecture including:

Identifies business requirements; Collecting and analysing information from system users to formulate the scope and objectives of the system; Estimating the costs of system solutions and preparing project plans to provide input into decisions about prioritizing projects and allocating IT resources; Preparing flow charts, models, and procedures and conducting feasibility studies to design possible system solutions; Preparing functional and system specifications that meet business user requirements, maps them to systems capabilities and recommends technical solutions; Configures system configuration settings , prepared functional specification for gaps.; Develop Use cases, customer scenarios, and/or demos, and plan and execute Unit, integration Testing and supports Business acceptance testing of the newly developed or enhanced applications; Identifies test scenarios and cases, documents test results, test scripts and provides quality assurance results to the business; Preparing and maintaining technical documentation to guide system users and to assist with the ongoing operation, maintenance, and development of the system; Works closely with business to develop required training, change management and operations process ;Performs troubleshooting, solves complex bug issues in production systems or applications, and collaborates with subject matter experts on issues ; Examines current business procedures, system practices and IT modification design and recommends new improved ones; Leverages agile methodology to design and configure solutions ;Looks for opportunities to automate business process with technology and may provide consultation to users in the area of automated systems.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidate should possess a Bachelors or Masters degree in Industrial Engineering or Computer Science and or Information Technology and have 6 to 8 years Supply chain experience in Global SAP implementations in SAP TM (S4 HANA), BN4L and SAP LE space covering Outbound and Inbound transportation processes with integrating with SAP SD, MM processes

Preferred Qualifications:

  • In depth knowledge of complete SAP transportation management lifecycle covering transportation planning, scheduling, optimizing, tendering, execution and monitoring.
  • Hands on experience of Freight Units, Freight orders, cockpit, profiles, schedules related to shipper scenarios required.
  • Exposure to BRF+ functionality is desired ;Sound knowledge of SAP Logistics processes covering Order to cash cycle covering Sales order, create deliveries and shipment processes.
  • Sound knowledge of SAP Event Management processes covering the logistics visibility.
  • Event handlers, alerts, actions, and reports; Knowledge of BN4L for Freight colloboration and GTT is desired.
  • Knowledge of SAP inventory transactions, Master data and related ALE IDOC, B2B processes mapping.
  • Strong knowledge of Supply Chain Management Concepts Real time transportation visibility, alerts mechanism and Inbound and Outbound transportation freight planning and optimization.
  • Exposure to Data Analytics; Should possess strong communication skills and demonstrate good business engagement and stakeholder management skills; Knowledge of Scrum and SAFe methodology
  • Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and schoolwork/classes/research.
