Job Description

Senior Full Stack Developer needed for a remote position at Patterned Learning AI. The role involves designing and implementing the architecture of eCommerce web applications built on a Shopify Plus instance, migrating to a customized website. Responsibilities include leading product launches, developing back-end logic, API integrations, testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience with Shopify headless eCommerce, Shopify Remix, Shopify API, Ruby on Rails, React.js, Node.js, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL. Experience with cloud platforms and 3PL integrations is crucial.

Must have:

5+ years development experience with Shopify headless eCommerce
Proficiency in Shopify Remix and Shopify API
Expertise in Ruby on Rails, React.js, Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL
Experience with Cloud platforms and 3PL integrations
RESTful APIs and GraphQL

Good to have:

BigQuery or other data warehouse solutions
Microservices architecture
CI/CD pipelines
Retail infrastructure (EDI, IMS, ERP, routing)
ElasticSearch or similar search technologies

THE ROLE: SENIOR FULL STACK DEVELOPER

LMNT is looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer who will report to the Lead Full Stack Developer and our Senior Product Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for development serving the purpose of delivering a world class customer experience. Working in a cross-functional and fast-paced environment, this person will help level up the Patterned Learning AI tech stack from its foundation as a Shopify Plus instance, to a customized website focused on new website features,Patterned Learning AI product launches, and the customer journey. This person has deep technical expertise with eCommerce platforms, a hunger to learn, and loves to create tools enabling teammates to work effectively on a small, agile team.

JOB HIGHLIGHTS

Design and implement the overall architecture of eCommerce web applications

Lead the development of product/feature launches and technical initiatives

Develop and maintain the back-end logic, database interactions, and API integrations

Test and debug applications at all levels of the stack

Collaborate with designers, product managers, vendors, and other team members to deliver functional and user-friendly products

Communicate complex technical topics across teams of varied technical backgrounds

Research, organize, and propose new solutions, technologies, methods, and optimization opportunities

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of development experience, with substantial focus on Shopify headless eCommerce.

High-level proficiency in:

Shopify Remix and Shopify API (THIS IS A MUST HAVE FOR ANY CANDIDATE)

Ruby on Rails (middleware)

React.js and Node.js

TypeScript

Tailwind CSS

PostgreSQL

Strong experience with:

Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)

Builder.io integration and development

Third-party logistics (3PL) integrations

RESTful APIs and GraphQL

Version control systems (Git)

Unit and integration testing

Nice to haves:

BigQuery or other data warehouse solutions

Microservices architecture

CI/CD pipelines

Performance optimization and monitoring

Retail infrastructure, such as EDI, IMS, ERP, and routing

ElasticSearch or similar search technologies

Redis or other caching solutions

Docker and container orchestration
