Job Description

As Senior Manager, Brand & Creative, you'll shape and own the BlinkRx brand across all marketing channels. Responsibilities include maintaining brand guidelines, leading creative direction (digital & print collateral, website, social media), overseeing design processes, managing an in-house design team (including contract designers), collaborating with marketing, sales, and product design teams, and managing project budgets. You'll be a strategic leader and hands-on designer, ensuring all creative assets align with brand values and resonate with target audiences. Experience in graphic design within healthcare/technology is crucial, along with proficiency in design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma).
Must have:
  • 8-10+ years graphic design experience
  • Strong portfolio showcasing design work
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma
  • Brand consistency and creative leadership
  • Team management and mentorship
  • Cross-functional collaboration skills
Good to have:
  • Motion graphics or video editing experience

The Role: Senior Manager, Brand & Creative

As the Senior Manager, Brand & Creative, you will be responsible for shaping and owning the BlinkRx brand across all marketing touchpoints. You will be our creative steward, ensuring that every piece of collateral—from website designs to marketing materials—aligns with our core values and resonates powerfully with our target audiences. In this role, you will be both a strategic leader and a hands-on designer in developing compelling, high-quality creative assets.

Your responsibilities:

  • Brand Stewardship
    • Maintain brand guidelines to ensure consistent messaging, visuals, and overall brand identity across all channels.
    • Act as the brand champion within the organization, inspiring internal teams to uphold a cohesive, innovative brand.
  • Creative Direction & Execution
    • Lead the conceptualization and design of marketing assets, including digital and print collateral, website elements, social media graphics, presentations, event materials, and more.
    • Oversee the creative process from ideation to final deliverables, ensuring each project meets strategic goals and brand standards.
    • Provide hands-on design support, in addition to managing in-house and contract designers depending on the individual project
  • Team Leadership 
    • Manage, mentor, and grow a small in-house design team, including contract and freelance designers.
    • Partner with our Head of Product Design to provide clear art direction, constructive feedback, and skill development opportunities to ensure the team’s continuous improvement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Partner closely with marketing, sales, and product design teams to align creative strategies with overall business objectives.
    • Collaborate with external agencies, vendors, and freelancers to augment in-house capabilities when necessary.
  • Project & Budget Management
    • Prioritize and manage multiple design projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints.
    • Maintain clear communication with stakeholders on project scope, timelines, and deliverables.

 

A successful applicant will fit the following criteria:

  • 8-10+ years of experience in graphic design, preferably within healthcare, technology, or a related field
  • Strong portfolio showcasing digital, print, and branding work across multiple channels
  • Expertise in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, or similar tools
  • Ability to align creative initiatives with broader marketing and business objectives
  • A strong eye for typography, color, and composition, with the ability to maintain brand consistency across all visual elements
  • Experience with motion graphics or video editing software is a plus
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, preferably in a startup setting
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor teams, fostering growth and accountability
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams
  • A bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field
