Job Description

Lucid Reality Labs is seeking a dedicated Manual QA tester to join their team. This role is crucial in bringing their immersive Unity solutions to the next level. Responsibilities include ensuring top-quality software release, testing products for multiple platforms, designing tests, writing and executing test cases, proactively detecting defects, reporting bugs, and collaborating with the development team. The ideal candidate will have experience in functional testing, knowledge of QA basics, experience with testing tools, Swagger, and Postman, and strong attention to detail.

Must have:

Experience in functional testing
Knowledge of Quality Control and/or Quality Assurance basics
Knowledge of testing tools (e.g., bug-tracking, reporting)
Experience with Swagger (or similar tool)
Experience with Postman (or similar tool)
Able to reliably follow instructions and work with due care and attention
Strong attention to detail and flexibility for quickly switching between tasks
Able to work proactively with clear priorities, seeking guidance when necessary
Clearly communicate ideas, activities, or results effectively, whether verbally or in written format
Able to give and receive constructive feedback; willing to take direction well
Prepared to be flexible in working practices, within reasonable company requirements
Able to quickly learn, understand and work within standard company processes

Good to have:

C# knowledge
Experience with ADB
Experience with Charles (or similar tool)

Job requirements

Required Qualifications:

Experience in functional testing
Good knowledge of Quality Control and/or Quality Assurance basics.
Knowledge of testing tools (e.g., bug-tracking, reporting).
Experience with Swagger (or similar tool)
Experience with Postman (or similar tool)
Able to reliably follow instructions and work with due care and attention
Have strong attention to detail and flexibility for quickly switching between tasks
Be able to work proactively with clear priorities, seeking guidance when necessary.
Clearly communicate ideas, activities, or results effectively, whether verbally or in written format.

Responsibilities:

Ensure we release top quality software
Test products for multiple platforms following a Test Plan
Test requirements and developed functionality
Design tests, write and execute test cases, work with test reports
Proactive defects detection and in-time bugs reporting
System test according to the Test Plan, executing pre-defined Test Cases
Perform exploratory testing with direction and supervision
Review and check Test Plans for errors
Assist with investigation of issues
Provide input to the test plan and gain experience in determining and writing additional test cases
Provide input into reports covering various aspects of testing when required.
Close collaboration with the development team.
