This 7-month contract position requires on-site work two days per week and is based in Santa Monica, CA. The ideal candidate possesses strong project management skills and video production technical expertise (Adobe Premiere, After Effects preferred).

We are currently seeking a Senior Marketing Operations Manager for a large, well-known entertainment company, offering a 7-month contract opportunity based in Santa Monica, CA. This hybrid role requires on-site work two days per week.

About the Opportunity:

As a Senior Marketing Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing the delivery and execution of marketing assets for high-impact campaigns. You'll work cross-functionally with various teams including Campaign Management, Creative Marketing, Media, and our client, ensuring that all assets are delivered on time and meet brand standards. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong project management experience and a passion for streamlining processes and improving efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define the Go-To-Market scope and collaborate with Campaign Management, Creative Marketing, Media, and other stakeholders to plan and deliver marketing assets.
  • Work closely with Post-Production Managers (AV) and Designers to establish and manage timelines for asset creation and delivery.
  • Manage project timelines, assets, and related information using internal tracking systems.
  • Gather delivery specifications from channel owners (primarily paid media) and ensure timely fulfillment of requests.
  • Ensure all marketing assets adhere to brand guidelines by performing quality control (QC) before final delivery.
  • Identify potential delivery risks and proactively work to mitigate them.
  • Oversee the storage and organization of all final marketing assets.
  • Support team leads with internal projects, such as defining workflows, piloting new IT systems, and creating presentations.
  • Identify and implement improvements to processes, workflows, and systems to enhance efficiency.
  • Assist with training new hires and mentor junior team members, building their AV technical expertise.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in a fast-paced, professional environment, ideally in marketing operations or project management.
  • Proven experience managing complex, client-facing projects from start to finish.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently without direct supervision.
  • Strong familiarity with video production technical specifications and software, such as Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects, is preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with a sharp attention to detail.
  • Experience in post-production finishing and mentoring junior staff is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, and Google Docs.

Education:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
