The Senior Project Manager will lead complex and strategic global Workplace Experience & Infrastructure (WEXI) projects and initiatives. The role involves crafting project plans, overseeing resources, ensuring effective communication, and leading project execution. Responsibilities include managing multiple projects, providing leadership in solution design, working with cross-functional teams, providing status reporting, mitigating risks, managing team members, and conducting stakeholder meetings. They will also develop cutover plans and carry out project closedown activities.
Must have:
  • 5+ years of IT Project Management experience.
  • Understanding of infrastructure components.
  • Strong stakeholder management and proactive presence.
  • Skilled in Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid workflow environments.
  • Experience in Project Mgmt. tools (i.e. MS DevOps, MS Project, Atlassian Jira).
  • Excellent relationship-building and people skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to solve problems in ambiguous environments.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to predict challenges and proactively head-off obstacles.
  • Ability to make decisions independently.
  • Strong command of the English language.

About the Role:  
We are seeking a Project Manager to lead complex and strategic global Workplace Experience & Infrastructure (WEXI) projects and initiatives. This role involves developing solutions that address both Enterprise Technology (ET) departmental and enterprise-wide business needs. The Project Manager will be tasked with crafting detailed project plans, overseeing global resources, ensuring effective project communication, and leading the successful execution of assigned projects.
 
What You’ll Do: 
  • Provide end-to-end project management for assigned projects
  • Actively manage multiple projects that may be in different phases of development
  • Provide leadership and direction in the analysis, selection, design, and implementation of solutions
  • Work closely with project sponsors, cross-functional teams, and other identified stakeholders to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, and timing for new initiatives
  • Provide status reporting on project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues
  • Mitigate risk utilizing contingency plans as necessary and manage through issue resolution
  • Manage team members to meet individual project assignments and project milestones
  • Conduct regular meetings with project and business stakeholders to review project status and drive decision making
  • Develop detailed cutover plans for Go-Live to ensure successful implementation
  • Carry out project closedown activities and transition to ongoing operational support
  • Participating in ET Portfolio Governance & Project Management initiatives as requested
 
What You Need to Succeed: 
  • BS degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or other IT-related area
  • 5+ years of progressive experience as an IT Project Manager with a minimum of 2+ years focus on delivering workplace experience and infrastructure related projects.  
  • Understanding of infrastructure components including MS Azure stack, network concepts, identity and access management, firewalls, virtualization, data center, cloud infrastructure, domains, and security tool integration.
  • A strong and proactive presence as well as stakeholder management is a must for this role
  • Skilled at leading project teams in either an Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid workflow environment
  • Experience in Project Mgmt. tools (i.e. MS DevOps, MS Project, Atlassian Jira)
  • Excellent relationship-building and people skills, with an ability to develop strong and trustworthy relationships across multiple teams and end-users
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to solve problems, even in ambiguous environments
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles
  • Ability to make decisions independently
  • Strong command of the English language
