Job Description

As a Senior Sales Engineer at Zscaler, you will be a technical thought leader and advisor to enterprise customers, guiding them through their digital transformation. Your responsibilities include taking ownership of the technical sales process, identifying and qualifying opportunities, and building trusted relationships with stakeholders. You will deliver sales pitches, technical presentations, and whiteboard sessions to ensure successful deployments of Zscaler's cloud security solutions. Must have:
  • 7+ years of presales experience
  • 3+ years in selling security solutions
  • Hands-on systems installation experience
  • Knowledge of network security technologies
Good to have:
  • Experience with GPO, Active Directory/LDAP and SSO/SAML
  • Experience with HTTP and web security technologies

Sales, Customer Success, Sales Enablement, Solution Architects, Business Development, Transformation, and Technology Partnerships all work together to demonstrate the power and agility of Zscaler cloud transformation to the world.

We're looking for an experienced Senior Sales Engineer to join our Solution Consulting team. Reporting to the Sales Engineering Manager, you'll be responsible for:

  • Providing technical thought leadership and advice to enterprise customers on how to transform their digital experience
  • Taking total ownership of the technical sale and processes
  • Identifying and qualifying technical opportunities and develop and maintain trusted advisor relationships with key customer stakeholders
  • Delivering sales pitches, technical and whiteboards presentations  to ensure successful deployments

What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

  • Bachelors or equivalent combination of education
  • 7 plus years of experience in presales roles, with at least 3 years of experience in selling security solutions
  • Hands-on experience with systems installation, administration of routers/switches and knowledge of network security technologies

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • GPO, Active Directory/LDAP and SSO/SAML experience
  • HTTP and web security technologies, proxies, caches, firewalls
