The Role:
As a Senior Software Engineer in Test you will be joining our Video Entertainment team, and will play a pivotal role in developing and enhancing our Solutions and products. You'll work as part of a dynamic and cross-functional team to ensure the seamless delivery of high-quality Deliverables. You will work on the latest technologies in the streaming industry and Your expertise will contribute to the innovation and enhancement of our solutions, ensuring our global customers have the best possible experience.
Your mission at Irdeto:
- Collaborate with the development team to understand software requirements and design automated test cases.
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts and test suites using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
- Identify and prioritize test cases for automation to maximize test coverage.
- Implement and maintain continuous integration pipelines for automated testing.
- Perform regression testing and report defects in an accurate and timely manner.
- Monitor and analyze test results, provide meaningful feedback, and contribute to root cause analysis.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of a robust and scalable automation framework.
- Mentor junior engineers and participate in knowledge sharing within the team.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience as a Software Engineer in Test Automation or a similar role.
- Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, TestNG, Junit).
- Testing for Angular applications.
- Familiarity with tools like Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI
- Understanding of API design and functionality
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) as OTT services are hosted on cloud infrastructures.
- Strong programming skills in languages like Python or JAVA.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Solid understanding of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) concepts.
