Job Details
Role
- Lead the development and maintenance of automated test scripts and testing tools to ensure robust test coverage.
- Drive the identification and resolution of complex issues within the codebase, focusing on improving product quality.
- Mentor and guide junior SDETs and other team members in best practices and advanced testing methodologies.
- Design and implement innovative testing strategies to uncover potential problems early.
- Develop, maintain, and execute automation tests for backend services to ensure high performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement test strategies and processes that ensure quality delivery.
Must Have
- 4+ years of relevant work experience in development and/or test automation.
- Extensive hands-on experience with backend functional, integration, and regression testing using tools such as Java, Rest Assured, TestNG, and Postman.
- Strong familiarity with SQL databases like MySQL/Postgres and CI tools like Jenkins.
- Good understanding of performance testing and tools such as JMeter or Locust.
- Deep knowledge of test methodologies, writing test plans, creating test cases, and debugging complex issues and Experience with bug tracking tools like JIRA and test management tools like TestRail.
