Scopely is looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Unity) to join Looney Tunes team in Bangalore on a hybrid basis!

What You’ll Do
  • Implement game functionality according to design documents and specifications
  • Provide guidance on design and architecture, adhering to standard methodologies for development
  • Connect with all team members to establish a pipeline and integrate art assets, considering the game roadmap
  • Collaborate closely with game designers and artists to enable creative expression within the game
  • Assist the project lead by providing regular feedback on implementation issues and possible improvements to game design
  • Suggest and implement the best solutions in the development process and game systems, addressing bugs and other technical issues identified for subsequent releases
  • Build and maintain technical documentation
  • Mentor and guide junior game designers in their career paths

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience with Mobile/Unity3D platforms and ecosystems
  • Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming with C#
  • Strong problem-solving skills and expertise in C# programming
  • Experience in developing and operating at least one multi-platform game
  • Good knowledge of computer science fundamentals and concepts
  • Ability to write well-structured, efficient, and maintainable quality code
  • Good communication skills
  • Extensive knowledge of memory optimization, CPU, and rendering pipelines
  • Familiarity with build systems, particularly Jenkins
  • Experience using version control systems like Git
  • Knowledge of mathematics, with an emphasis on 3D mathematics
  • Experience using debugging and profiling tools
  • Familiarity with mobile native languages like Objective-C, Java, and C++
  • Experience consuming REST APIs from Unity.
  • Passion for games, especially mobile games
  • Academic background in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar courses
