Senior Solutions Engineer - Full Stack

About the Role:

As a Senior Solutions Engineer - Full Stack, you will be a part of the Solutions Engineering team who can turn product ideas into reality by designing components and services for new feature developments. You will implement scalable architecture and work with an enthusiastic team contributing to robust projects that will be critical for fleets to be able to track everything from trailers down to individual tools at a job site and provide valuable and actionable real-time insights to help streamline operations and increase our customer’s profitability.

What You’ll Do: 

• Collaborate with several cross functional teams to design and document scalable solutions
• Write secure, maintainable code that powers the platform that provides real time visibility into company’s assets
• Build and make scalable design choices for API interfaces to work across internal and external applications and services Build appropriate monitoring, logging, debugging for the health of the system
• Actively work on our AWS cloud infrastructure
• Make architectural design decisions for new product features, do dev milestones planning, do tasks breakdown and sprint planning
• Be involved with the backend engineers, product owners, designers, and QA to efficiently execute on projects
• Be involved in code reviews and keeping the design and quality of the code base in check

What We’re Looking For: 

• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related field
• 6+ years software development experience (Full Stack)
• An affinity for creating software that is extensible, performant, and easy to read
• Experience building product infrastructure, distributed systems and data models
• Experience in Java, Python,Go or similar language in building backend infrastructure of web applications including design and implementation of scalable, efficient and secure systems.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Redis, and Cassandra.
• 6+ years of Frontend development experience in a major Frontend framework/stack such as Angular, React.
• Mid-advanced knowledge of Angular framework is a big plus.
• Experience building for Cloud Infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, Azure or private clouds
• Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues, performance bottlenecks, and security vulnerabilities and proactively monitor and optimize the applications performance and scalability to meet user demands.
• Experience leading medium to large complexity Frontend projects, involving architecture and design decision making, dev milestones planning, doing tasks breakdown and sprint planning
• Strong software design and architecture skills.
• Exposure to agile methodology of software development.
