SOC Development Engineer

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, computer engineering, software engineering, system analysis or related field of study, or equivalent experience

5+ years of experience in a combination of Information Security, IT, and Development

Hands-on technical Cybersecurity experience across multiple domains of Cybersecurity

Experience in Python development, QA, and debugging

Experience tuning detections in EDR platforms

Experience automating tasks and configuring integrations in SOAR platforms

Experience creating and tuning detections in SIEM platforms

Technical understanding of Mac OSX, Microsoft Windows, and Linux/Unix system administrative and security controls

Familiarity with secure development practices and secure software lifecycle management

Familiarity with incident response and security operations

Experience with Firewalls, IDS/IPS, WAF and packet analysis tools

Experience with Active Directory, LDAP, TACACS, and other access and Identity management technologies

Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation

Excellent written, verbal, communication, and presentation skills; ability to communicate effectively and clearly to both technical and non-technical staff
