The position also involves adhering to company policies and safeguarding confidential information.

TransUnion Risk and Alternative Data Solutions, Inc. (a wholly owned subsidiary of TransUnion, LLC) seeks Sr. Developers for various and unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S. (HQ: Chicago, IL). Supervise the integration of data from new providers into core product offerings to improve the accuracy and coverage of data. Oversee junior developers who create algorithms to identify and reduce outliers in consumer and business attributes in data offerings. Manage new algorithms to improve current product offerings and lead the development of new products to target new markets. Collaborate with Product Owners, Cross Functional Teams, and clients to develop new products. Lead the migration of the data ecosystem to the cloud and related technologies. Responsible for developing new libraries that support future development and reducing code redundancy in the existing system. Communicate directly with clients to interpret business requirements and incorporate those needs into new products. Technical Environment: C++, SQL, HTML, JSON, Python, MariaDB, GIT, Linux CLI, Algorithm Development and Testing, Data Manipulation, Statistical Data Analysis, Data Governance, Data Pipelining, Command Line Interface scripting, JAVA, MATLAB, MongoDB, Jupyter, MYSQL.
Requirements
Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field plus 3 years of experience with Data Engineering required. Skills Required: C++, SQL, HTML, JSON, Python, MariaDB, GIT, Linux CLI, Algorithm Development and Testing, Data Manipulation, Statistical Data Analysis, Data Governance, Data Pipelining, Command Line Interface scripting, JAVA, MATLAB, MongoDB, Jupyter, MYSQL. Telecommuting permitted.

The U.S. base salary range for this position is $148,949/yr. - $165,000/yr. annually. Regular, fulltime non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnion’s annual bonus plan. Certain positions may also be eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
