Job Description

About the job

Responsibilities

Conduct chemical analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards

Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to optimize chemical processes and enhance overall efficiency

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve chemical-related issues in a timely manner

Lead and participate in safety audits and compliance activities to maintain a secure and healthy work environment

Prepare accurate and detailed reports on chemical test results and provide recommendations for corrective actions

Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes to incorporate best practices into the organization's chemical processes

Train and mentor junior chemists to ensure their professional growth and development within the organization

Contribute to the development and implementation of sustainable practices in line with the organization's environmental goals

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field - Master's degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering preferred

6-10 years of experience in the Copper Business industry - Proven track record of success in chemical analysis and process improvement - Strong understanding of quality control procedures and regulatory standards within the industry
