Job Description

The Team Lead at LSEG will drive team performance and help them reach their full potential. This role involves developing team members through coaching, training, and knowledge sharing while guiding the team in research studies and general research processes. Responsibilities include managing a team of approximately 10-12 researchers, leading research projects, contributing to new business processes, providing status updates, preparing and reviewing client requests, and engaging in performance reviews and hiring. The successful candidate should have previous experience in research, strong project management, and stakeholder management skills.

It has hundreds of specialist researchers and analysts across the globe, adhering to the most stringent research guidelines as they collate information from reliable and reputable sources - such as watch lists, government records, and media searches.

The Team Lead in LSEG drives performance from the team and lead them to reach their best potential. The successful candidate should ensure people development through coaching, training and knowledge sharing while leading the team in research studies and general research processes. We are looking for someone with previous experience in research, with strong project management skills and sound stakeholder-management skills.

Day to day responsibilities include:

  • Managing a team of approximately 10-12 researchers.
  • Ensure people development through coaching, training and knowledge sharing.
  • Ability to drive performance from the team in a demanding environment.
  • Leading the team in research studies, projects and general research processes within designated timeframe.
  • Contributes to new business processes by actively leading or collaborating on proposal development efforts for research projects.
  • Provides regular status updates on research projects to the manager.
  • Prepares and reviews client requests.
  • Actively engage in performance review and hiring of the team.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience leading high-performance teams.
  • First level university degree or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience in research.
