Job Description

The Buyer 1 role involves managing material availability through proper material master data setup, vendor capacity planning, and purchase order management with internal and external suppliers. The responsibilities include performing inventory analysis, maintaining SCM master data, placing and tracking orders, communicating forecasts to suppliers, validating them, proactively identifying and mitigating material shortage risks, managing returns, and participating in tier meetings. This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years of experience in Material Planning, Supply Chain Management, or Data Analysis. The company emphasizes in-person work for office-based teams at least 3 days per week.

Job Description

To manage the availability of material through the proper material master data setup, vendor capacity planning and purchase order management with internal and external suppliers and mitigate in case of supply risks and issues. 

Your role:

  • Performs inventory analysis and maintains SCM master data and Product Life Cycle forecast tools.

  • Places and tracks orders with suppliers, confirms deliveries, and ensures SAP is updated accordingly.

  • Communicates forecasts to suppliers, validates them, and proactively identifies and mitigates material shortage risks.

  • Manages returns, eliminates root causes of availability issues, and keeps tools aligned with vendor confirmations.

  • Participates in tier meetings and provides updates on the status of their items.


You're the right fit if:

  • High School Diploma, Vocational Education/ Bachelor's Degree in Business Economics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Data Analysis and Statistics, Business Analytics or equivalent.

  • No prior experience required with Bachelor's OR minimum 2 years of experience in Material Planning, Supply Chain Management, Data Analysis or equivalent.

  • Advanced English level.


How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
