Job Description

As a Technical Account Manager at Polygon Labs, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our developers succeed with their blockchain initiatives on the Polygon Network. You will be the primary point of contact for builders, providing them with ongoing technical support, strategic guidance, and best practices to help them realize the full potential of Polygon’s technology. You will be responsible for: * Builder Advocacy: Act as a trusted advisor and advocate for your builders within Polygon Labs, ensuring their needs and challenges are effectively communicated and addressed. Help builders navigate the complexities of blockchain adoption and optimize their usage of the Polygon Network. * Technical Guidance: Provide expert technical advice on architecting and deploying solutions on the Polygon Network. Offer insights into best practices, security, performance optimization, and cost management to help builders achieve their business objectives. * Proactive Support: Regularly engage with builders to review their usage of Polygon’s technology, identify opportunities for optimization, and ensure they are taking full advantage of the network's latest features and capabilities. * Problem Resolution: Assist builders in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to their blockchain solutions on Polygon. Work closely with the support and engineering teams to ensure timely and effective resolution of any challenges. * Strategic Planning: Collaborate with builders to develop and execute strategic plans for their blockchain initiatives, ensuring alignment with their business goals and maximizing the value they derive from the Polygon Network. * Feedback and Insights: Gather and share builder feedback with Polygon’s product and engineering teams, contributing to the continuous improvement of the network’s offerings and helping to shape the future of blockchain technology at Polygon Labs.
Must have:
  • Extensive experience in a builder-facing technical role
  • Strong background in blockchain technology and decentralized applications
  • In-depth knowledge of Polygon’s ecosystem

About Polygon Labs

Polygon Labs is a software development company building and developing a network of aggregated blockchains via the AggLayer, secured by Ethereum. As public infrastructure, the AggLayer will bring together user bases and liquidity for any connected chain, and leverage Ethereum as a settlement layer. Polygon Labs has also contributed to the core development of several widely-adopted scaling protocols and tools for launching blockchains, including Polygon PoS, Polygon zkEVM, and Polygon Miden, which is in development as well as Polygon CDK.

Your Role

As a Technical Account Manager at Polygon Labs, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our developers succeed with their blockchain initiatives on the Polygon Network. You will be the primary point of contact for builders, providing them with ongoing technical support, strategic guidance, and best practices to help them realize the full potential of Polygon’s technology.

Your Responsibilities 

  • Builder Advocacy: Act as a trusted advisor and advocate for your builders within Polygon Labs, ensuring their needs and challenges are effectively communicated and addressed. Help builders navigate the complexities of blockchain adoption and optimize their usage of the Polygon Network.

  • Technical Guidance: Provide expert technical advice on architecting and deploying solutions on the Polygon Network. Offer insights into best practices, security, performance optimization, and cost management to help builders achieve their business objectives.

  • Proactive Support: Regularly engage with builders to review their usage of Polygon’s technology, identify opportunities for optimization, and ensure they are taking full advantage of the network's latest features and capabilities.

What You’ll Need

  • Extensive experience in a builder-facing technical role, with a strong background in blockchain technology and decentralized applications.

  • In-depth knowledge of Polygon’s ecosystem, including its Layer 2 scaling solutions and dApp development frameworks.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and guide builders to successful outcomes.

  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills, with a passion for helping builders succeed in their blockchain endeavors.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
