As an experienced Full Stack Developer, you will have end-to-end responsibility for the development, testing and deployment of new business functionalities in Currency Risk Management for the global Siemens Group. Being part of our Market Risk team, you will work hand in hand with your colleagues from the IT and business department. As one of your first projects you will implement a new module of client business application Currima in .NET technologies. During operation you will have full software maintenance responsibility for this and further planned modules of this application.
Build business logic layers in C#, reusing and extending the existing data model (database)
Design and build web API layer, integrating the front end with the back end
Design and build the front end web pages for a world class user experience
Testing: build and perform automated unit and integration testing; to assist with UAT
Follow and use source code management system, branching strategy, backlog management system and automated CI/CD pipelines.
Ensure best practices are followed for code quality (peer reviews, analysis tools, etc.) and maintainable code
Non-functional requirements (security, performance, etc.) are designed and built as required
Training and Knowledge transfer (of technologies, tooling, configuration, coding, processes, etc.).
Actively take part in all Agile Events (Planning, Review/Devo, Retrospective, etc.) as required
The contractor will report into the project’s IT PM and carry out all assigned tasks.
Must have
Proficient in English (project language).
Full stack developer with 5 or more years of professional experience with .NET 8, C# and Angular 18
Completed several design, build and support project development lifecycles
Source code management: GibLab experience but GitHub and/or Azure DevOps okay
Using source code management systems
Following a defined branching strategy
Working in an Agile project environment
Working from a backlog management system
Running automated CI/CD pipelines. Building pipelines an advantage
Performed peer code reviews

Business knowledge in FX Market (foreign exchange) and Accounting
