Your mission

We are seeking a VFX Artist to join our team in Madrid and contribute to some of the most exciting projects in the video game world.

In addition to Turok Origins, you’ll have the unique opportunity to collaborate on other thrilling, unannounced AAA projects, shaping the future of unforgettable gaming experiences.

If you’ve ever dreamed of crafting breathtaking effects that bring adventure-filled universes to life, this is your moment. As a VFX Artist, you’ll play a pivotal role in creating stunning visual effects that immerse players in the action and elevate the visual impact of our projects.

Responsibilities:

• Create magic: Design stunning real-time VFX across a variety of styles, pushing the boundaries of what players expect in modern games.
• Collaborate for greatness: Work primarily with our Programming Team, as well as Design and Animation, to develop innovative VFX solutions that balance visual impact with technical performance.

Your profile

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Unreal Engine 5, especially when it comes to creating complex materials, particle effects and optimizing for various platforms.
• Expertise in game console development (PS4, Xbox One).
• Knowledge of VFX simulation software like Houdini or similar tools.
• An eye for detail. You can break down effects in other games and take inspiration to create something truly unique.

• A solid foundation in art knowledge.
• 3D modeling experience using software like 3DS Max or Maya.
• Knowledge of shader programming (HLSL/GLSL) to push your effects even further.
• Experience with Unreal Engine 5 blueprints to integrate your effects seamlessly into gameplay.
