Job Description

VFX Production Assistant supporting Producers & Production teams. Must-haves: Strong communication & organization skills, proficiency in MS Office Suite, Google Suite, and fluent English. Previous experience in Production Assistant role is desirable.

Job description

VFX Production Assistants are responsible for supporting the Producers and Production teams on a day to day basis.

Responsibilities:

Liaise with senior VFX staff, crew and key VFX clients
Answer phone calls and take messages as appropriate (Sick or on holiday people for example)
Update diaries and Calendars schedules
General administrative duties as required
Download and Upload material from Clients and other collaborators
Prepare room and equipment for various meetings

Job requirements

Essential Skills:

Able to communicate clearly and professionally with crew and clients
Able to work well under pressure
Excellent organisation skills
Strong computer skills especially with Ms Office suite, including Excel & Word and of the Google Suite including Sheets and Docs
Fluent in English, oral and written

Desirable Skills:

Previous experience in a Production Assistant role
Some knowledge or understanding of visual effects or post-production
Previous experience using database, e.g. Shotgun or a similar production orientated tool
