Job Description
The 2D Storyboard and Illustration Artist will be responsible for developing visualizations of concepts in collaboration with script writers. They will create storyboards that include backgrounds, directions, and actions, ensuring the design conveys emotive stories through animations and videos. They should have a strong understanding of 2D animation techniques, proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, and a good grasp of design principles, including layout, color, and composition. The role requires the ability to manage schedules, prioritize work, and quickly adapt to changes. They should be able to interpret ideas into detailed drawings and possess strong layout and design skills. The role involves creating visualization and also demands on producing captivating design.
Must have:
- Fine design fundamentals and illustration skills are a must.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with script writers to visualize the story.
- Talent for sketching and drawing.
- Overall illustration skills are a must.
- Understanding of the principles of animation.
- Ability to interpret the ideas of others into detailed drawings.
- Strong layout and design skills.
Good to have:
- Editing skills.
- Wacom Tablet knowledge is an advantage.

Responsibilities:
- Develop a visualization of concepts and work closely with the script writers to help understand and achieve their vision.
- Quick visualization ability from written descriptions or discussed ideas
- Ensure that storyboard includes all final backgrounds, direction, and action by making drawing
- Build captivating design that conveys emotive stories through animations and videos that will grab attention.
- Knowledge of 2D animation techniques
- Strength with Adobe Illustrator.
- Good grasp of theories of design, layout, color, composition, and creative communication.
- Ability to manage schedules and prioritize their own work and others
