Job Description

G5 Games seeks a 2D UI/UX Artist for a match-3 project. Responsibilities include drawing UI elements and windows, assembling window mockups, preparing and optimizing graphics for game import, developing and maintaining UI-kit documentation, collaborating with teams and outsourcing partners, and working within a casual graphics style. The ideal candidate possesses basic graphic design knowledge, some iconography experience, understanding of UX, color/light rules, perspective, proportions, and professional Photoshop skills. Russian language proficiency (Upper-Intermediate or higher) is required.

We are currently looking for a talented 2D UI/UX Artist (match-3 project) to join our ART Team and work on drawing UI elements and windows for one of our projects in the style of casual. Does it look interesting to you? Apply now!

What you will work on:

  • Draw UI elements and windows;
  • Assemble various window mockups;
  • Prepare and optimize graphics for import into the game;
  • Develop and maintain documentation and the UI-kit;
  • Work in a team and collaborate with outsourcers;
  • Work on a project in casual graphics style.

It’s important to us:

  • Basic knowledge of graphic design;
  • Some experience with small iconography;
  • Knowledge of UX basics;
  • Understanding of the color and light rules;
  • Understanding of linear and aerial perspective;
  • Understanding of proportions;
  • General visual art skills: lighting, form, conveying the characteristics of materials, etc.;
  • Professional Photoshop skills;
  • Russian language - at least Upper-Intermediate.

Would be a great bonus:

  • Extensive experience in drawing various game icons;
  • Education or work experience in the field of graphic design, layout or infographics;
  • Experience in working with neural networks.
