This role involves designing and implementing advanced ML systems for game development, integrating seamlessly with existing tools and pipelines. The ML Game Systems Engineer will collaborate closely with game developers to understand their needs and embed ML models into various game elements. Responsibilities include ensuring high performance, effectiveness, and compatibility across different hardware and platforms, staying updated on the latest advancements in ML and game engines, and continuously improving and innovating existing systems. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in applying machine learning in real-world scenarios, ideally within the gaming industry. Proficiency with game engines (preferably Unreal Engine) and optimizing development pipelines is essential. Strong collaboration and communication skills are vital for working within a multidisciplinary team.

Job Description

We are looking for a ML Game Systems Engineer to join us in Warsaw! You will be a part of a team that aims to bring engine, game development tools and gameplay systems to the next level. You’ll collaborate to bridge the gap between data scientists and game developers and ensure that our systems stay ahead of industry trends.

Daily Responsibilities

  • Designing and implementing advanced ML systems that integrate seamlessly into the game development stack.
  • Collaborating directly with game development teams to understand their needs and embed ML models into various elements of the game.
  • Ensuring top-notch performance, effectiveness, and compatibility of solutions across the latest hardware and platforms.
  • Staying informed about the latest trends and advancements in ML and game engines to continuously improve and innovate existing systems.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in applying machine learning, in real-world scenarios, ideally in gaming or related fields.
  • Proficiency with game engines (preferably Unreal Engine) and refining game development pipelines.
  • Knowledge of hardware architectures, platform-specific considerations, and performance optimization techniques.
  • A passion for exploring, combining and implementing the latest advancements in ML and game dev.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work closely with interdisciplinary teams.
