This role is an Account Manager for Google Shopping Solutions, focusing on large retail online advertisers in Europe. The position requires fluency in English, Spanish, and French to manage client communication. Responsibilities include acting as the primary point of contact for clients, providing tailored recommendations and solutions using deep market understanding of Shopping Ads, showcasing the Google Shopping value proposition, earning customer loyalty, gathering client feedback, and contributing to the improvement of Google Shopping campaigns. The ideal candidate possesses strong relationship-building skills, analytical abilities, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years in tech sales or customer-facing sales role
  • Fluent in English, Spanish, and French
  • Strong communication & relationship building skills
  • Deep understanding of online advertising
Good to have:
  • Business insights synthesis & strategy development
  • Stakeholder alignment & influential communication
  • Effective collaboration with support teams
  • Success in fast-paced, ambiguous environments

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience in technology sales or working with customers in a sales role.
  • Ability to communicate in English, Spanish, and French fluently in order to communicate with external customers.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Ability to synthesize and surface business insights to inform and develop business strategy.
  • Ability to comprehend and align needs from different stakeholders with an influential approach.
  • Ability to utilize and partner effectively with supporting teams to troubleshoot customer issues and provide outstanding customer experience.
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment with scarce resources.

Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the single point of contact for some of Europe's largest retail online advertisers, including well known household brands.
  • Make unique recommendations and solutions for merchants using your deep understanding of the market, industry, and the Shopping Ads product.
  • Bring the Google Shopping value proposition and service offering to life to earn customer loyalty and foster customer retention.
  • Gather customer feedback and priorities to give back to the business and ensure that Google Shopping remains at the Shopping campaign consultancy.
