Job Description

WRI Brazil is seeking an Active Mobility Intern to join their Cidades program in Porto Alegre, Brazil. The intern will support the team in various projects related to active mobility, including urban and public space design, developing presentations and training materials, organizing meetings and events, and conducting research for technical reports. The role also involves assisting with road safety audits and data analysis. Candidates should be studying Architecture, Urbanism, or Engineering from the 5th semester onwards, possess strong Office Suite skills, good internet research abilities, and demonstrate proactivity and teamwork.
Must have:
  • Support in road and public space design.
  • Support in developing presentations, training, and graphic materials.
  • Support in organizing internal and external meetings, training, and events.
  • Support in research and construction of training and technical reports.
  • Support in road safety audits and data analysis.
  • Currently studying Architecture, Urbanism, Engineering, or related fields from the 5th semester onwards.
  • Proficiency in Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Good internet research skills.
  • Good interpersonal communication and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proactivity, critical analysis skills, and organization.
  • Intermediate English and basic Spanish.

Active Mobility Internship

Porto Alegre, Brazil

The WRI Brazil is looking for a student studying architecture and urbanism or engineering to support our team in active mobility projects.

Main activities and/or responsibilities:

  • Support in road and public space design.
  • Support in the development of presentations, training, and graphic materials.
  • Support in the organization and execution of internal and external meetings, training, events, and other related activities.
  • Support in research and construction of training and technical reports.
  • Support in road safety audits.
  • Support in data collection and analysis.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Currently studying from the 5th semester of Architecture and Urbanism, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Technical skills: proficiency in Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint; good internet research skills; desirable knowledge in graphic representation programs.
  • Behavioral skills: good interpersonal communication, ability to work in multidisciplinary teams, proactivity, critical analysis skills, and organization.
  • Intermediate English and basic Spanish.
