Job Description & Summary
The recently established Actuarial team is an integral part of the larger Risk Management & Modelling advisory team. The team's primary focus is to carry out various (core) actuarial tasks, including reserving (Solvency II, IFRS 17, etc.), (dynamic) pricing, actuarial function, actuarial transformation, actuarial tooling, etc. Our mission is to design comprehensive and effective actuarial risk management solutions in close collaboration with other PwC’s advisory teams.
As a consultant, you will have the opportunity to continually improve your technical competencies in areas such as insurance, programming, actuarial methodologies, and actuarial risk modeling. These acquired skills will be put to practical use in diverse projects.
Your role will involve supporting senior colleagues in a variety of advisory and data-driven projects.
You will actively participate in the design and creation of actuarial and data analytics methodologies and software tools.
Completed bachelor’s degree.
Educational background in mathematics, actuarial science, econometrics, or statistics.
Experience with work in Excel.
Experience with at least one of the statistical programming languages (e.g., R, Python).
Experience with any of actuarial modelling tools (Prophet, Moses, ResQ, etc.) is advantageous.
Knowledge of IFRS 17, Solvency 2 is advantageous.
You feel comfortable using English as a main working language (Czech language is advantageous, but not required).

First, you will complete short online tests where you will find out how you are doing with logic and the ability to understand connections. After successfully passing the tests, you will have an interview and a case study. The last step is an interview with our partner, where you discuss more detailed information about the position.
