As an Administrative Business Partner, you will be responsible for the smooth operation of your team's business activities. You will anticipate needs, resolve operational and administrative issues proactively, and leverage Google products for strategic support. Responsibilities include calendar management, optimizing executive time allocation, assessing office space needs, expense and budget management, travel coordination, and planning internal/external events. You will collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure compliance with policies. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, possesses strong business judgment, and excels in communication.

Minimum qualifications:

  • 2 years of administrative experience working in a high-tech or international environment.
  • Experience in core administrative tasks (e.g., travel management, expense reports, calendar management, facilities coordination, etc.).

Preferred qualifications:

  • 3 years of administrative experience supporting executive-level management in a corporate environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.

You anticipate the needs of your managers and team members and help them stay focused on their projects by resolving operational and administrative issues before they arise. You move quickly with the changing environment and are up to date with the latest Google products and services. You also use that knowledge to strategically support your team's projects. In addition to being organized and analytical, you possess the strong business judgment and communication skills needed to interact with a variety of people and job functions.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule, maintain, and update calendar events for the supported executive, team or site with consideration for time zone differences. Optimize the calendar for short- and long-term planning of supported executive making recommendations to support leadership time allocation with respect to calendar and travel.
  • Assess and advocate for office space needs with manage requests for space accommodations, liaise with internal partners (e.g., real estate workplace services REWS) to construct and plan space allocation, may facilitate office moves.
  • Execute expense and budget management activities with some guidance. Complete travel coordination tasks.
  • Plan and organize internal and external programs and events (e.g., budget management, team off-sites, site-wide events, business events, tech talks, summits) and manage event logistics (e.g., venues, equipment, swag, entertainment, travel)) in collaboration with internal partners and external vendors.
