Valeo Thermal Systems

Skawina’s engine cooling plant is the largest and oldest Valeo site in Poland. The plant designs and manufactures the latest generation of innovative heat exchangers, i.e., engine coolers, oil coolers, air turbocharger coolers, air-conditioning and complete engine cooling systems (cooling modules), which in addition to their basic functions allow to reduce fuel consumption and emissions of harmful substances including carbon dioxide.

Currently for our entity Valeo Power Division - Heat Pump Module in Skawina we recruit an Advanced Development Technical Manager.

Mission:

• Technical management of team developing Heat Pump Modules (Coolant and Refrigerant side) and components like Multiway coolant valves and pumps and exchangers

• Provides technical guidance to the managed team

• Details scheduling and budgeting of developed projects

• Analysis of multi-criteria decision matrix prepared by the team

• In charge of the robust design in line with the economic targets

• Assign to team members the work packages needed and check the completeness of the deliverables

• Support of P1 Teams during RFQ steps and during development when collaboration is required

• Interface with the customer for the R&D subjects of this project, break down and cascade internally customer requests and needs

• It ensures that patents are filled before communicating to the customer on technical innovations or innovative usages

• Report  and escalate to Heat Pump Modules&HEX manager as needed

The ideal candidate will have:

• Technical background in mechanics, thermodynamics

• Experience in technical team management

• 4 years’ experience in the automotive/aerospace industry

• Fluency in English

• Very good communication skills
