Job Description

This position is responsible for the landscaping of the Resort area, including the Park, Hotels in the Resort, Public Transport Interchange, and Inspiration Lake Recreation Centre. It involves shift duties, typically morning shifts (7:30am to 17:15pm or 8:00am to 17:45pm) or overnight shifts (11:30pm to 9:15am). Responsibilities include regular tree inspection and risk assessment, tree pruning or removal when necessary, using professional tree assessment devices, and performing outdoor work for tree works and inspections.
Must have:
  • ISA Certified Arborist
  • Certified Tree Worker Climber Specialist
  • 3 years of experience in arboriculture
  • Good knowledge of safe tree pruning
  • Experience with power machinery (chainsaw, pole pruner)
  • Working at height
  • Shift duties including overnight and public holidays
Good to have:
  • Tree Risk Assessment qualification
  • Driving license (category 2)
  • Good organizational and communication skills
  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Job Summary:

Responsible for the landscaping for the Resort area, including the Park, Hotels in the Resort, Public Transport Interchange and Inspiration Lake Recreation Centre.

This position requires shift duty.
Typical shift hour: Morning shift (7:30am to 17:15pm) or (8:00am to 17:45pm) ; Overnight shift (11:30pm to 9:15am).

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out regular tree inspection and risk assessment, and tree pruning or removal when necessary
  • Use of professional tree assessment devices
  • Outdoor works for tree works (tree pruning or removal) and tree inspection / risk assessment

Basic Qualifications:

  • ISA Certified Arborist and Certified Tree Worker Climber Specialist or obtained Tree Risk Assessment qualification is highly preferred
  • At least 3 years of experience in arboriculture
  • Good knowledge of safe and proper tree pruning
  • Hands-on experience in applying power machineries, e.g. chainsaw, pole pruner, etc.
  • Working at height are required and shift duties cover day or overnight and public holidays
  • Possession of Driving license (category 2) preferred
  • Good organizational and communicational skills
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Candidate with more experience will be considered as Senior Arborist

SCHEDULE AVAILABILITY Our Theme Park and Resort Hotels operate 365 days a year. Candidates will need to work shifts according to a roster that is determined by the Company, including shifts on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.
