Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Game Designer to join our team. You will be responsible for designing all aspects of our games, including battle design, level design, and system design. You will also be responsible for writing documentation, implementing designs, creating levels, and balancing gameplay. Senior Game Designer positions also require managing schedules, maintaining quality, and overseeing all facets of game design. You will also manage other game designers.

  • Japanese language proficiency

  • Image editing in PhotoShop

Work Responsibilities

  • Designing every aspect of our games, including battle design, level design and system design

  • Writing documentation, including game system proposals and specifications

  • Implementing designs, creating levels and balancing gameplay

  • Managing schedules, maintaining quality, and overseeing designated areas of the project

Senior Game Designer positions also require:

  • Managing schedules, maintaining quality and and overseeing all facets of game design

  • Managing of other game designers

Necessary Skills and Experience

  • Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Senior Game Designer candidates also must have:

  • Skills with schedule management applications

Desired Skills

  • Image editing in PhotoShop

  • Communication skills using images

Conditions

  • Game design experience and Japanese language proficiency are required for this position.

Senior Game Designer candidates also require:

  • Management experience, managing other staff as a section lead and/or contributing to a project as a manager

Selection Process

Our candidate selection process is comprised of the following steps.- Document screening

  • Interview process (Total of 2 to 4 interviews, including final interview)

  • Post-offer discussion
