This full-time position requires travel to properties within the area and includes some in-office responsibilities. About the Opportunity:
As an Associate Photographer, you'll play a key role in capturing high-quality images of residential and commercial properties. You'll work closely with clients, sales, and research teams to deliver stunning visual content that supports marketing initiatives across various platforms. This is an exciting opportunity to combine your photography skills with the real estate industry, working in a fast-paced and independent environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Capture beautiful 3D virtual tours and photographs for residential and commercial properties, showcasing the spaces in their best light.
  • Create a diverse portfolio of images for homes and apartments, employing creative techniques to highlight features effectively.
  • Collaborate with scheduling and dispatch teams to optimize appointments and meet client demands.
  • Professionally communicate with clients, sales, research partners, and management to evaluate priorities and tasks.
  • Take ownership of your market area, navigating grids to ensure comprehensive commercial real estate data coverage.
  • Identify new inventory and missing availability for properties to be photographed.
  • Abide by safety standards and protect company vehicles and equipment.
  • Represent the client professionally in all interactions.
  • Participate in conference calls with sales and research teams as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in photography or 2+ years of professional experience in photography (field experience preferred).
  • Experience with Matterport is highly valued, though we are willing to train qualified candidates.
  • Ability to capture and enter data accurately.
  • Quick to learn and apply new concepts such as commercial real estate terminology and mapping/GIS concepts.
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong time management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Windows, Apple OS, Microsoft Office, and various apps.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work in the field, including frequent sitting, standing, and walking for up to 8 hours per day.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver equipment weighing up to 5 pounds.
  • Repetitive hand and arm movements required for typing and operating camera equipment.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, lifting, twisting, and carrying may be necessary.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all seasons.
  • Ability to work weekends on a rotating schedule.
