Job Description

The Associate Project Manager (Creative) will play a key role in managing creative resources, scoping, scheduling, and project flow for a major international client within 160over90. They will be part of a dedicated client team, working primarily with the London and Dubai offices. Responsibilities include defining deliverables, determining project scopes, tracking design and creative requirements, and managing project timelines. The role requires strong organizational and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with limited creative oversight at times. The Associate Project Manager will also coordinate creative efforts in Dubai.
Must have:
  • Manage creative resource schedules following the allocation workflow
  • Prioritize creative project schedules and resources
  • Plan the development of print, online, and branding projects
  • Review internal briefs to ensure the teams have the information
  • Be the main point of contact between Creative & Account
  • Ensure sufficient time for the teams to deliver the work
  • Ensure that projects comply with rules and regulations
  • Track time and budget expenditure before, during and after projects
Good to have:
  • Project management experience within a creative/advertising/marketing agency
  • Understanding of the integrated marketing and advertising creative process
  • Experience managing approval-heavy creative accounts
  • Experience with Project Management software (Monday.com)
  • Understanding of creative file types and design software
  • Experience in, or exposure to, sponsorship marketing
  • A degree, or equivalent work experience, in Marketing or Comms Management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong project management skills: managing projects, schedules and resource
  • Strong understanding and experience of integrated marketing and advertising projects
  • Team player, open to feedback and can work under demanding deadlines
  • Ability to problem-solve independently and in groups
  • Strong work ethic with the flexibility to navigate change
  • Understanding of and/or interest in sports, culture and entertainment

The Role and What You’ll Do:
The Junior Project Manager (Creative) will play an important role in the 160/90 team; managing the creative resource, scoping, scheduling and project-flow of one of our largest clients, an international business that operates in multiple markets, across their expanding Global Partnerships portfolio. 

The Associate Project Manager will form an integral part of the dedicated client team, that includes Creative, Strategy and PR & Comms that spans (primarily) 160over90’s London and Dubai offices.  The candidate will work alongside and report into the Project Manager who has a broader remit across the entire Account. The Associate Project Manager will eventually own the resourcing workstream and be the day-to-day lead on the brand side, freeing the PM up for broader campaign oversight. This role is for an enthusiastic, dedicated and flexible thinker with demonstratable project management skills and proven organisational, problem-solving abilities.  Attention to detail is a given. 

The Associate Project Manager will help define deliverables, assist in defining project scopes, determine and track design and creative requirements and manage project timelines. They will work closely with the Project Manager and wider client team to help deliver innovative designs and category redefining concepts and creative production that create culture. 

The candidate will mainly be working in a dedicated (and growing) client team of Creative Director, Associate Creative Director, multiple designers, and Strategy and Account leads. They will get instruction from the account leads and will have support from the Project Manager, Creative Director and the wider Creative Operations team. The Associate Project Manager will also be part of the wider creative team that is based in Dubai and will be the main creative coordinator in the region. As the Project Manager is based in London, this will require working independently with limited creative oversight at times. 

 You Have These: 

  • Be the Assocaite Project Manager on an agency-critical client 

  • Own the creative resourcing schedules following the allocation workflow 

  • Prioritize creative project schedules and resource, ensuring deadlines and goals are met 

  • Plan the development of solutions for print, online, experiential, entertainment and branding projects 

  • Review internal briefs and add value to ensure the teams have the appropriate information and direction 

  • Act as in-house main point of contact between Creative & Account and Brand teams 

  • Ensure that the creative, design and production teams have sufficient time and input to deliver work that answer and exceed client briefs 

  • Contribute to the development of standards and procedures set by the Project Manager and wider Creative Operations team 

  • Create, maintain & ensure the creative team uphold the established naming conventions and file structure 

  • Ensure that projects are housed in compliance with the server rules, privacy and regulations 

  • Track time and a budget expenditure before, during and after projects; keeping account leads updated 

 

We’d Love If You Also Have These: 

  • Previous project management experience within a respected creative/advertising/marketing/design agency, or in-house at an emerging/fast-growth company. 

  • Thorough understanding of the integrated marketing and advertising creative process. 

  • Experience managing or supporting high-volume, approval-heavy creative accounts is a plus. 

  • Experience with Project Management software – ideally Monday.com. 

  • An understanding of creative file types and design software would be highly beneficial. 

  • Experience in, or exposure to, sponsorship marketing is advantageous, but not mandatory. 

  • A degree, or equivalent work experience, in Marketing or Comms Management. 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills  

  • Strong project management skills: managing projects, schedules and resource 

  • Strong skills in project management software: Excel, Word, Time tracking 

  • Strong understanding and experience of integrated marketing and advertising projects including Experiential marketing, Online and offline design, Sponsorships, Branding etc. 

  • Team player, open to feedback, master of multitasking, can work under tight, demanding deadlines. 

  • Ability to problem-solve independently and in groups. 

  • Strong work ethic with the flexibility to navigate change in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Understanding of and/or interest in sports, culture and entertainment. 

  • Enthusiasm and desire to learn and grow as an individual
