The role:

As a Experienced Associate/Senior Associate, you will work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Proactively assist in the management of several clients, while reporting to Managers and above

• Supervising teams and reporting directly to senior staff

• Establish effective working relationships directly with clients

• Contribute to the development of your own and team’s technical acumen

• Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues

• Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients

• Continue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand

What we are looking for:

• University degree (finance, accounting, economics, business administration etc.)

• 2-4 years of relevant experience in a professional services environment (external audit)

• Thorough knowledge of auditing techniques

• Familiarity with IFRS and Croatian Financial Reporting Standards

• Understanding of risk-based auditing and risk and control strategies

• Results-oriented approach with keen attention to high quality, details and accuracy, self-motivation, teamwork and desire to exceed expectations

• Compliance with and understanding of regulatory requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Croatian and English

• Eligibility to travel in accordance with client and other job requirements
