Job Description

AWS Infrastructure Engineer responsible for continuous server software deployment on hosted and cloud-based infrastructure (AWS). Key responsibilities include infrastructure creation, automated deployments using IAC, access and resource control management, and coordination with internal/external teams. The role also involves ensuring 24x7 service availability, issue triage, improving service availability through monitoring and response plans, and liaising with vendors and customers. Experience with AWS services (VPC, IAM, EC2, etc.), scripting (Python/Shell), containerization (Kubernetes, Docker), IAC (Terraform, Pulumi), monitoring tools (Splunk, Datadog, etc.), CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Maven), and databases (MySQL, Athena, RDS) is required. The position demands strong problem-solving skills, collaborative spirit, and a proactive approach to maintaining high service quality.

Must have:

AWS Infrastructure expertise (VPC, EC2, S3, etc.)
Automation & Scripting (Python/Shell)
Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
IAC (Terraform, Pulumi)
Monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Datadog)
CI/CD (Jenkins, Maven)
Database experience (MySQL, RDS)
Shift work willingness

Good to have:

Splunk, Grafana, Tableau
Athena, Hive query experience

Job Description	Primary Skills: Willing to work in shifts • Continuous Server Software deployment on both hosted and cloud-based infrastructure (AWS) • Infra creation, automated deployments using IAC • Access and resource control management • Co-ordinates with other internal/external teams (QA, Dev, Systems, IT, AWS, Vendors, etc.) on service deployment/quality Secondary Responsibilities: • Ensure 24x7 service availability and service quality • Triage issues in co-ordination with other teams • Improve service availability by adding alerts, monitors and response plans • Perform ad-hoc reporting • Liaise with vendors and customers on service quality • Provide periodic updates on Service cost and quality • Work closely with Engineering and Management teams Skills: • Strong knowledge of AWS Services Infrastructure (VPC, IAM, EC2, CloudFront, S3, ElastiCache, LB, Lambda, RDS, SQS, etc.) • Strong scripting and automation skills (Python/Shell) • Experience in containerization and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes, Docker • Proficient with IAC such as Terraform, Pulumi • Experience using monitoring tools such as Splunk, Datadog, Grafana, Tableau, AWS CloudWatch, Zabbix • Used continuous integration tools such as Jenkins, Maven • Experience with using MySQL DB, Athena, RDS, Aurora as data sources and writing moderately complex MySQL and Hive Queries • Experience with IT operations (Hosted and AWS Cloud based). Required: Bachelor's, Degree in Engineering
WFH Option	No WFH, engineers need to visit the office daily / Engineers need to be local
