Garçon Bleu, a French restaurant on Level 9 of Sofitel Adelaide, is seeking a Bar Supervisor. The role involves creating inspiring mixology, indulging curiosity for flavors and ingredients, and delighting guests with new tasting experiences. Responsibilities include overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing staff schedules, inventory, and bar cleanliness. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential. The company emphasizes a regionally inspired and seasonally influenced approach to food and beverages, working closely with local providores and producers.
Must have:
  • Minimum 2 years service experience in a high-volume bar
  • Effective communication, time management, problem-solving
  • Service-focused personality with passion for F&B
  • Exemplary product knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer
  • Valid South Australian Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification
  • Currently located in Australia with full working rights

Job Description

Create inspiring mixology. Here you can indulge your curiosity and passion for different flavours and ingredients. Extending your knowledge of cocktails, spirits and beers, you can delight guests with new tasting experiences and take pride in serving the drinks they know, just the way they love them.

Additionally, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, manage staff schedules, inventory, and bar cleanliness. Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills required

Qualifications

What you will bring to the role:

  • Minimum 2 years service experience within a high-volume bar environment.
  • Effective communication, time management and problem-solving capabilities
  • Service focused personality with a passion for food & beverage and exemplary product knowledge of cocktails wine and beer
  • Valid South Australian Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification
