Join the 9News Parliament House Bureau in Canberra as a Camera Operator/Editor, supporting live and recorded coverage of federal politics across TV and digital. We're looking for talented individuals, whether you're already proficient in camera operation and editing, or an experienced editor keen to develop your on-location shooting skills. Work with a dynamic team and the new National Desk to deliver impactful stories on key political events. Responsibilities include operating ENG cameras, setting up lighting and audio, editing video on-location, collaborating with news teams, troubleshooting technical issues, ensuring content adheres to standards, maintaining equipment, and traveling for news coverage.
Must have:

- Set up and manage lighting, audio, and framing.
- Edit video on-location for quick turnaround.

- Ensure all content adheres to journalistic and ethical standards.
- Maintain equipment and follow safety protocols.
- Travel for news coverage as needed (passport required).
