The Commercial Planning Unit works closely with unit heads to develop growth and profitability strategies, analyze market insights, identify competitor trends, and discover opportunities for promotions and new products/services.

Must have:

Analyze market for competitor insights
Collaborate on data analysis
Monitor sales performance
Provide data to sales unit heads
Coordinate sales controls with product team
Basic SQL and BI platform knowledge
Proven analytical background
Intermediate Excel/Google Suite skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team
Ability to work under pressure

Good to have:

Work experience in a similar field
Knowledge of Python, R, Periscope, Metabase

About the unit:

The Commercial Planning Unit works closely with the Unit Heads and team to develop strategies and recommendations that will drive growth and profitability in the commercial segment. The Unit also analyzes the market for insights on competitors, and find opportunities on promos, and products/services.

Main Duties:

- To analyze the market for insight on competitors, and find opportunities, promos, products/services

- To collaborate with commercial strategy team on data analysis and recommend sales startegies (i.e pricing strategies)

- To monitor the sales performance aod the different sales teams and the impact of initiatives (promos and strategies)

- To provide data or information needed to sales unit heads

- To coordinate with the product team and the business operations team for sales controls and improvements for better sales operations.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree, preferably in Business Studies, Management/Industrial Engineering, or Information Technology

- Work experience in any similar field is a plus

- Basic knowledge and understanding of SQL and other business intelligence or analytics platforms (Python, R, Periscope, Metabase)

Proven analytical background

- Intermediate skill in Microsoft Excel or Google Suite’s GSheet

- Excellent verbal and written communication

- Can work independently and as a member of a team

- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize and thrive in a fast-moving environment
