Responsibilities include identifying key communication content, managing internal communication channels, organizing events, building brand trust, and providing strategic counsel to marketing teams.
Must have:
  • 6+ years of communications experience in CEE markets
  • Experience in planning and delivering internal and external communications
  • Expertise in internal channels strategy creation and execution
Good to have:
  • Experience in FMCG or Healthcare companies
  • Experience in building effective networking inside and outside the organization

We have a new role for a Communications Manager Central & Eastern Europe (CEE) a full-time permanent basis.

The Communications Manager CEE will co-partner with the Director of Corporate Affairs CEE, Director of HR and the HR team as well as Talent Acquisition partners in managing, streamlining, and enhancing the flow of information within an organization, creating strategies for effective internal communication, promoting corporate culture, and support the external engagement strategy for Haleon across CEE markets, with focus on Poland, as well as providing support for markets like Romania, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Greece, Israel, Ukraine and Export Markets.

The role will be based in Warsaw, Poland.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for internal communications across CEE, to identify key communications contents, channels and subjects with the potential to influence the company culture, as well as business reputation.
  • Making sure the global content is shared, cascaded and promoted internally to drive engagement, understanding and buy in of the company strategy
  • Proactively support & manage the process, frequence and flow of key internal comms channels, such as i.e. CEE Town Halls, Engagement Survey related communications, leader messages and organizational announcements
  • Partner with CEE Corporate Affairs Director and CEE BU LT in organizing internal as well as external visits and CEE Leaders events
  • Position Haleon and our brands as industry leaders to build trust and drive consumer loyalty internally, building a strong community of company’s ambassadors
  • Provide CEE Leadership Team and Market Leaders with advice on key internal and external communications occasions – experience in leading/co-leading/executing some cultural initiatives will be additional asset.
  • Work effectively with external partners (comms/PR/media/ agencies) and internal stakeholders (CEE BU LT, HR, TA) to deliver against the strategy.
  • Develop content and execute relevant (social media and earned media) campaigns to for the market, corporate brand campaigns and ensure support for internal and external comms opportunities for Haleon to take part
  • Identify and manage opportunities for local engagement to increase company’s profile across priority CEE markets – special focus on building the employer brands, leaddership, self-care, DEI and with leveraging CEE LT members and Haleon experts on these ocassions
  • Partner with broader CA team to support them on editorial calendar and content.
  • Ensure all materials are compliant with company and brand guidelines.
  • Determine KPIs and monitor, analyze and communicate results on a quarterly basis across BU CA
  • Provide strategic counsel to marketing teams on internal as well as external comms related support needed for key projects.
  • Manage and build relationships with key organisations, foundations, NGOs we partner externally, manage the calendar of key occasions for internal and external engagement
  • Support cross CEE BU Corporate Affairs initiatives.
  • Partner with HR Leaders and broader CEE LT in driving strategic cultural initiatives internally, in partnership with IC team
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and best practice to continuously improve the communication strategy.

Why you?

Qualifications:

  • University Degree (BSc) or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • At least 6 years of experience and proven background in internal or internal & external communications on in-country level in PL and preferably other CEE markets
  • Preferably a combination of the PR agency background and in-house experience
  • Expertise, experience, and confidence to plan, counsel on and deliver internal engagement and external communications to drive growth of the corporate brand
  • Experience working in matrixed organization, ideally in a FMCG or Healthcare company.
  • Experience in building effective networking inside and outside the organization.
  • Experience in internal channels strategy creation and execution
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent writing skills - very much welcomed public speaking expertise.
  • Social media savvy.
  • Passionate storyteller with in-depth, demonstrated expertise of the PL media landscape, able to proactively identify and tell unique narratives that support communications objectives.
  • The ability to work across multiple areas and demonstrate good agility.
  • A positive, can-do attitude and a real team player; Self-starter.
  • Tact, diplomacy, comfort around higher management.
  • Fluent, excellent in English and Polish languages
