Job Description

The Customer Solutions Consultant role at Google involves identifying and qualifying business opportunities, addressing customer technical objections, and developing strategies to overcome roadblocks. This position requires sharing Google Workspace expertise with customers and partners, conducting product briefings, proof-of-concept work, and coordinating solutions to improve customer adoption. Responsibilities include demonstrating Google Cloud product integrations, handling RFPs technically, recommending integration strategies and architectures, and educating partners on Google Workspace to drive technical innovation for customers. The ideal candidate will have strong cloud native architecture experience and excellent communication skills, capable of presenting to technical and executive audiences.
Must have:

  • Google Workspace expertise
  • Problem-solving & strategy development
  • RFP technical responsibility
Good to have:
  • Technical sales engineering experience
  • Experience with enterprise productivity solutions
  • Knowledge of AI, IoT, and A/V system integration
  • Partner relationship management

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
  • Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working as a technical sales engineer in a cloud computing environment or equivalent experience in a customer or partner-facing role.
  • Experience in cloud ecosystems on enterprise productivity solutions and experience with related solutions (Messaging, Productivity applications, Identity Management, Endpoint Management, UC&C Solutions).
  • Knowledge of productivity technologies and their integration with Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IOT), and A/V systems to provide next-generation user experiences.
  • Ability to present Google Workspace value to executive audiences and technology stakeholders in partner and customer organizations. Foster and develop key relationships with new and existing customers and partners.

Responsibilities

  • Work on identifying and qualifying business opportunities, key customer technical objections and developing strategy to resolve technical blockers.
  • Share Google Workspace expertise to support the technical relationship with Google’s customers and partners, including product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and the coordination and prioritization of solutions impacting customer adoption of Google Workspace.
  • Work with customers and partners to demonstrate and prototype Google Cloud product integrations in customer/partner environments and to take responsibility for the technical aspect of Request for Proposals (RFPs).
  • Recommend integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms and application infrastructure needed to implement a complete solution using best practices on Google Workspace.
  • Educate partners on the power of Google Workspace and enable them to drive technical innovation for our customers. Help partners develop technology for Google Workspace solutions they take to market.
