Job Description

As a Customer Support representative, you will be responsible for generating customer quotes, fulfilling orders, and managing accounts receivable. You'll work with the Digital Mine Team to ensure customer satisfaction by providing exceptional services. Your role involves monitoring inventory, preparing reports, and addressing inquiries related to pricing and invoices. A typical day includes generating quotes, placing inventory requisitions, and arranging shipments. The role requires strong skills in communication, problem-solving, and the ability to work independently and proactively to fulfill customer orders efficiently.
Must have:
  • Degree in Engineering or Administration
  • Experience in dynamic and challenging environments
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Proficient knowledge of an ERP system (Oracle desirable)
  • Advanced English (Spoken and Written)
Good to have:
  • Strong mining industry knowledge
  • Experience working across various functions, businesses, and regions

Who will you be working with?

You will be working with Digital Mine Team, responsible for fulfilling customer orders . We support our global customers through providing exceptional value adding services and support through strong partnerships and high-quality performance.  By creating a global organisation with standard processes, we will drive growth and increase revenue year over year.

How will you make a difference?

Supply Chain – ​​Digital Mine (DM), you will be responsible for all actions related to the generating of day-to-day customer quotes and the fulfilment of their orders as well as follow up on outstanding accounts receivable.
Support for the control of Fulfilment area indicators such as Back Orders, On-time Delivery, Inventory value and inventory turns.


What do we want to know about you?

  • Degree in Engineering or Administration;

  • Work in dynamic and challenging environments where quality and delivery time are of fundamental importance for customer satisfaction;

  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office, especially Excel;

  • Proficient knowledge of an ERP system (Oracle desirable)

  • Strong mining industry knowledge and experience in working across various functions, businesses, and regions;

  • High attention to detail;

  • Ability to work independently and proactively;

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;

  • Builds and maintains relationships with Supply Chain team as well as other functions within the business;

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously;

  • Communication skills;

  •  Interest in developing skills for customer relationship management

  • Advanced English (Spoken and Written) not negotiable.

What will your typical day look like?

  • Generate customer quotes in consultation with the DM Fulfilment manager, place inventory requisitions, clear and receipt inventory and arrange shipments to execute on-time deliveries to customers;

  • Develop an efficient and accurate system for monitoring all open purchase orders;

  • Deliver a weekly purchase order report to management regarding progress against promised delivery dates;

  • Act as DM Fulfilment’s communication point, working with the accounts payable and receivable teams on any pricing or invoice queries that might arise;

  • Attend to ad hoc queries and requests that might assist with the fulfilment of customer orders in a timely and accurate manner as well as receiving payments on time.
