DevOps (AWS) Engineer

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure primarily on AWS, with familiarity in Azure.
  
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, deployment, and testing processes.
  
• Collaborate with software development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle.
  
• Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure high availability and performance of applications and services.
  
• Continuously optimize and improve infrastructure, processes, and workflows for scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
  
• Ensure security best practices are followed in the design and implementation of infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
  
• Troubleshoot issues related to infrastructure, deployments, and performance, and provide timely resolution.
  
• Stay updated with the latest technologies, tools, and trends in DevOps and cloud computing.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a DevOps engineer or in a related role.
  
• Strong background in using CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
  
• Hands-on experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
  
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS Platform.
  
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
  
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Nagios, Prometheus, ELK stack, etc.
  
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
  
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator) are a plus.
