The Director of Data Privacy Protection Operations will lead and manage the global data privacy and protection program, overseeing a team to ensure consistent implementation across the organization. This role involves translating complex privacy regulations into actionable requirements for business units and partnering with global stakeholders to balance legal risk with business objectives. The director will continuously evaluate and improve privacy frameworks, governance structures, training programs, and compliance processes. Furthermore, they will deliver executive-level updates and insights through clear reporting and strategic presentations. The role is crucial for safeguarding data and upholding customer trust in the fintech and gaming industries.
Must have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
  • 4-6 years of experience leading global data privacy programs.
  • Experience with supporting systems compliance for major privacy regulations in the US, EU, and Asia.
  • Deep expertise in global data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, PIPL, PIPEDA).
  • Strong technical understanding of data systems, governance tools, and privacy software.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Everi is seeking a Director of Data Privacy Protection Operations to lead critical initiatives that safeguard our data and uphold customer trust. Based in Las Vegas, Nevada, this role plays a pivotal part in shaping and executing our global privacy operations, ensuring our practices not only meet—but exceed—regulatory standards in the fast-paced world of fintech and gaming.


What Will You Be Doing?

  • Lead and manage the global data privacy and protection program, overseeing a team of professionals to ensure consistent implementation across the organization.
  • Translate complex privacy regulations into practical, actionable requirements for business units and ensure clear communication and alignment.
  • Partner with global stakeholders to balance legal risk with business objectives while promoting a culture of privacy compliance.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve privacy frameworks, governance structures, training programs, and compliance processes.
  • Deliver executive-level updates and insights through clear reporting, roadmaps, and strategic presentations.


Skills, Knowledge, & Expertise for the job:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Technology, Law, or related field required; advanced degrees or certifications like CIPP/CIPM strongly preferred.
  • 4–6 years of experience leading global data privacy programs, ideally within tech-focused or highly regulated industries.
  • Experience with supporting systems compliance for major privacy regulations in the US, EU, and Asia.
  • Deep expertise in global data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, PIPL, PIPEDA), with proven ability to translate legal requirements into practical business strategies.
  • Strong technical understanding of data systems, governance tools, and privacy software (e.g., Transcend), with experience managing complex, cross-functional projects.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with a proactive, client-focused mindset and strong attention to detail.

 The compensation for this role considers a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential for the location at which the position may ultimately be filled. At Everi, it is not typical for all individuals to be hired at or near the end of the range; compensation decisions depend on each case’s facts and circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $173,000 - $192,000 annually.
