Job Description

The Director, Planning role involves understanding media channels and coordinating across multiple media disciplines, particularly focusing on TV, CTV, Social, and Digital. Responsibilities include designing integrated media plans, overseeing client communications, managing deliverables, analyzing competitive landscapes, managing media budgets, and guiding media channel selection. The candidate will manage a large Media Budget and Flowchart. The job requires 8+ years of experience in a large agency setting with a strong understanding of media planning, buying, and relevant tools.
Must have:
  • 8+ years of experience in a large agency setting.
  • 8+ years of media planning and buying experience in TV, CTV, Social and digital landscape.
  • Experience with Media Ocean, DDS, Nielsen Ad Intel, Pathmatics, and Media tools.
  • 3+ years of experience of leading direct reports in a large agency setting.
  • Understanding of planning sponsorship campaigns on a national level.
Good to have:
  • Experience promoting collaborative relationships with other teams.
  • Comfortable working with budgets/numbers and understanding mathematical concepts.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish

Job Description: Responsibilities:
  • Understanding of all media channels and experience coordinating across multiple media disciplines with a heavy focus on TV/CTV/Social/Digital
  • 8+ years of experience with upper funnel media awareness campaigns
  • Coordinate with multi-channel teams to design modern, strategic and thoughtful integrated media plans across a myriad of awareness-based channels (TV, CTV, Video, Social, Programmatic and Audio)
  • Comfort overseeing and communicating directly with clients on questions and media plans
  • Evaluate timelines and manage daily deliverables
  • Experience analyzing competitive landscapes, pulling reports using agency tools and compiling insights
  • Manage a large Media Budget and Flowchart
  • Guide media channel selection and forward think on new opportunities
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of total experience in a large agency setting
  • 8+ years of media planning and buying experience in the TV, CTV, Social and digital landscape
  • 8+ years of experience with Media Ocean, DDS, Nielsen Ad Intel, Pathmatics, Media Tools, Web Analytics, Ad Servers, Media Research tools
  • 3+ years of experience of leading multiple levels of direct reports in a large agency setting
  • Understanding of planning sponsorship campaigns on a national level
  • Experience promoting collaborative relationships with other teams
  • Comfortable working with budgets/numbers and an understanding of mathematical concepts
  • Bilingual English/Spanish

Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
