The Sales Compensation Specialist will be responsible for analyzing financial data, providing recommendations, and managing sales compensation ticketing. They will research and coordinate changes in source systems, manage stakeholders, and optimize work processes. The role also involves partnering on system enhancements, modeling plan changes, and ensuring compliance with best practices. This position requires strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. The specialist will work in a hybrid environment, requiring at least three days a week in the office.

Description:

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Financial Planning & Administration regional team at Marsh McLennan. This role is based in Lisbon. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

We will count on you to:

  • Analyze financial data and quantitative analyses, in order to support sound and defensible recommendations;
  • Review and conduct analysis of financial planning information and reports, and make recommendations for changes to management;
  • Triaging issues that arise through Sales compensation ticketing workflow (Ticketing research & resolution); 
  • Researching/validating and coordinating changes were made in upstream source systems where required;
  • Stakeholder management as internal clients;
  • Optimize work and procedures, leading to a more efficient and accurate environment;
  • Partnering with Sr Manager & CIS to test enhancements, related to in year process in enhancements or upstream system changes;
  • Requests from Zone Leaders, HR, TR, to model plan move/account moves and impact to earnings;
  • Annual Set up of plan changes, partnering with CIS to test year over year system switchover activities, enhancements  and working with Sr manager to review and secure approval;
  • Maintain best practices policies, in order to maintain compliance with regulatory standards.

 

What you need to have:     

  • Overall 5+ years relevant business experience;
  • Ability to understand and articulate financial impact or decisions;
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Attention to detail;
  • Show initiative and contribute to a continuous improvement environment;
  • Proficient in MS Office, Advanced Excel (manipulate big data) and PowerPoint;
  • Highly proficient in data analysis and data extraction and manipulation;
  • Proven track record of delivering to deadlines;
  • Active team player with the ability to work across geographies;
  • Be open for new challenges and willing to undertake additional responsibilities;
  • English fluent business language level.
