The Distribution Center General Manager will oversee all aspects of the company's Distribution Center, including order fulfillment, warehousing, inventory management, and logistics. This role provides strategic direction and hands-on leadership to ensure operational excellence, cost efficiency, and superior customer service. The GM drives performance using data analytics, continuous improvement initiatives, and adherence to compliance and safety regulations. The GM is fully accountable for operational budgets and leading high-performing teams to ensure distribution capabilities align with Marucci’s growth and service expectations.

Distribution Center General Manager

Marucci Sports, a wholly owned subsidiary of Fox Factory, was founded by two former MLB players and their athletic trainer who began handcrafting bats for some of the best players in the game from their garage in 2004. Position Summary:

Marucci Sports is looking for a General Manager to oversee all aspects of the company’s Distribution Center, including order fulfillment, warehousing, inventory management, and logistics. This role provides strategic direction and hands-on leadership to ensure operational excellence, cost efficiency, and superior customer service. The GM drives performance using data analytics, continuous improvement initiatives, and adherence to compliance and safety regulations. Fully accountable for operational budgets and leading high-performing teams, the GM ensures that distribution capabilities align with Marucci’s growth and service expectations.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop DC management and staff to maintain a productive, safe, and efficient work environment.
  • Meet cost, service, and delivery expectations in line with Marucci’s supply chain strategy.
  • Ensure seamless product flow from receipt to customer delivery while maintaining inventory accuracy.
  • Using the forecast plan for future distribution needs and scale operations accordingly (staffing, equipment, space).
  • Partner cross-functionally with technology teams to ensure WMS/ERP systems are fully optimized and supporting the supply chain.
  • Implement and manage process improvement initiatives using KPIs and performance metrics.
  • Maintain strict compliance with OSHA, DOT, and other relevant regulatory bodies.
  • Oversee physical security, loss prevention protocols, and safet training programs.
  • Own the distribution budget, optimizing spend while delivering operational excellence.
  • Provide clear communication, recognition, and feedback to build strong team culture.
  • Ensure all SLA (Service level agreements) are met. (i.e. DTC orders in before noon central are shipped the same day)

Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required:

  • Proven leadership with a track record of building and managing high-performance teams.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills at all organizational levels. This is especially important in this company.
  • Process-oriented mindset with a hands-on approach to operational improvements.
  • Deep experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and a working knowledge of ERP platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to manage through data.
  • Highly adaptable and collaborative; able to lead change and influence across departments.
  • Results-driven self-starter with high accountability and execution focus.

Position Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or other related field required.

Experience:

  • 7+ years of management experience in a supply chain, warehousing or distribution environment required
