Job Description

Tesla's Reliability Team seeks a Dyno Test Technician in Tilburg, Netherlands. Responsibilities include setting up and maintaining component-level tests, executing comprehensive tests (setup, inspection, maintenance, retrofits), collaborating with engineering teams on mechanical and electrical issues, providing detailed test updates, supporting instrumentation and data acquisition, maintaining test equipment, and mentoring other technicians. The ideal candidate possesses experience as an engineering, service, or manufacturing technician, fabrication/electrical equipment experience, analytical problem-solving skills, and strong communication skills. Experience with Linux-based scripting or Python is preferred.

Must have:

Engineering/service/manufacturing technician experience
Fabrication or electrical equipment experience
Analytical problem-solving skills
Strong written & verbal communication (English)
Conduct and maintain component-level tests

Good to have:

Linux-based scripting or Python experience
Root cause analysis expertise

As a valued member of Tesla’s Reliability Team, The primary objective of this role is to setup, maintain component level tests in accordance with Tesla procedures. The role is based in Tesla Test Laboratory in Tilburg (Netherlands).

What You’ll Do

Conduct test fixtures for various projects.
Execute comprehensive tests, including setup, detailed inspections, maintenance, and retrofits.
Collaborate with engineering teams to address mechanical and electrical issues.
⁠Deliver detailed written and verbal updates on test status to key stakeholders.
Support engineering teams in instrumentation and data acquisition setup and logging.
Maintain general test equipment actively to ensure optimal functionality.
Support and mentor other technicians to help develop the team.

What You’ll Bring

Experience as an engineering, service or manufacturing technician.
Willingness to learn a dynamic automotive environment.
Experience with fabrication equipment (e.g. Band Saw, Drill Press) or electrical equipment (harnesses, power supplies etc.).
Analytical problem-solving skills & root cause analysis.
Adept at managing competing demands, and meeting tight deadlines effectively with attention to detail.
Excellent written & verbal communication skills in English.
Compute knowledge is a plus: Linux based script writing or some Python experience highly preferred.
