Job Description

Eneba seeks an experienced Editor to review, edit, and approve content, ensuring accuracy and adherence to editorial guidelines. The role involves maintaining consistent brand voice across platforms, mentoring contributing writers, assisting with topic assignment and deadlines, collaborating on content strategies, analyzing engagement metrics, managing the editorial calendar, and coordinating with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities also include fact-checking and verifying news content. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of editorial experience in gaming, technology, or related fields, proven team management skills, exceptional editing abilities, CMS proficiency, strong organizational skills, and a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

Review, edit, and approve content submissions, ensuring accuracy, grammar, and adherence to editorial guidelines.
Maintain a consistent tone, style, and voice across all platforms.
Assisting the Editor-in-Chief with mentoring contributing writers, providing feedback and fostering skill development.
Assist with assigning topics, deadlines, and responsibilities based on editorial priorities.
Collaborate with the Editor-in-Chief to develop content strategies that align with company objectives.
Analyze audience engagement metrics to help guide future editorial decisions.
Help with organizing and maintaining the editorial calendar, ensuring deadlines are met.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing and design, to enhance content visibility.
Fact-check and verify news content for accuracy and originality.

Requirements

3+ years of editorial experience in gaming, technology, or related industries.
Proven track record in managing teams and overseeing high-volume content production.
Exceptional editing and proofreading abilities.
Proficiency with content management systems (CMS).
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or a related field.
