20th Television seeks an Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative support for Post-Production Executives. This fast-paced role involves managing calendars, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders (Hulu, Disney+, FX, etc.), handling travel arrangements, organizing documents, and utilizing various software (AirTable, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, etc.). Responsibilities encompass general administrative tasks, team coordination, and tracking key dates. The successful candidate will possess exceptional organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive under pressure. The role currently resides in Century City with an anticipated move to Burbank by the end of 2025.

20th Television is seeking an Assistant to provide administrative support for the Executives of Post Production. This is a high volume and fast-paced desk that works closely with other teams such as Hulu, Disney+, FX, and other brands. The ideal candidate will have superior organizational and communication skills; be highly motivated and detail-oriented; and can remain calm under pressure. Job responsibilities include standard assistant duties, team coordinating, and tracking and reporting of important dates and other department administrative needs.

Please note that this role is currently located in the Century City offices. The team is expected to transfer to Burbank by end of 2025.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide overall administrative support for the Executives including but not limited to:
  • Provide direct administrative support to the Executives of Post Production, while assisting with administrative tasks for the broader team as needed, helping manage Post Production across multiple shows in various stages.
  • Maintain daily calendar management, including setting calls, meetingswith stakeholders internally and externallyas well as vendor lunches, vendor demos/presentations, etc.
  • Executive Travel & Expenses.
  • Maintain and organize show files and documents.
  • Enter or Retrieve data from AirTable, as requested.
  • Support department by ordering supplies and materials, equipment, IT support, furniture requirements, messenger/courier needs, etc.
  • Assist with creating spreadsheets, forms, graphics, etc. for the purpose of establishing departmental policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Other tasks or projects as assigned as the above is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities this role will entail.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of previous assistant experience or some working knowledge of post-production operations.
  • Prefer working knowledge of applications such as MacOS, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Zoom, as well as applications comparable to PIX, Faspex, Aspera on Cloud, Evercast, Clearview Flex and Adobe suite of tools, Canvaor similar graphic programs.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ability to multi-task and organize multiple projects, with excellent follow through
  • Strong communication skills, with an ability to interface with 3rd party vendors, internal executives and colleagues in a collaborative and problem-solving fashion
  • Strong people skills, including the ability to work effectively as part of a team and with professionals at all levels.
  • Self-starterand proactive, with the goal of helping make the department function more efficiently.

Required Education:

  •  Bachelor’s degree or other film/television-related undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience.


The hiring range for this position in Los Angeles, CA is $53,300 to $71,300 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
