We are seeking a highly organized and resourceful Freelance Producer to join our Dark Burn Creative team! The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing production workflows, ensuring seamless communication, and delivering high-quality results for our clients.
Please note this position requires on-site/in-office work in Woodland Hills, California.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Manages the overall business operations and project management of the account
- Prepare and circulate project estimates for internal approvals.
- Ensures schedules are aligned with available resources.
- Serve as the primary production liaison to the Accounts.
- Attend all production-related meeting with clients.
- Manage Dark Burn resourcing and project management.
- Drive effective communication and collaboration within the team.
- Ensures work is done to the highest level of quality, on time and within budget.
- Communicate effectively to ensure everyone is on the same page regarding project timelines and goals.
- Maintain detailed records of project progress, including schedules, milestones, and issues encountered.
ABOUT YOU:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., film, multimedia production, or communications) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years of industry experience producing video trailers or advertising assets in entertainment or gaming required. Gameplay trailers are preferred.
- Post production workflow experience preferred.
- Video and photo editing skills are a plus (knowledge of software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Final Cut Pro, etc. is a plus).
- Experience managing teams and using project management tools.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365: PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Team, Slack, Airtable
- Strong passion for video games and a good understanding of gaming culture.
- Proficiency with video games, video, and static digital assets specifications and nomenclature.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Available to work long hours when needed, especially under tight deadlines.

COMPENSATION:
